1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Snug Tonight ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Snug Tonight provides sleep clothing layer recommendations for babies based on weather data and your baby's age. The App is designed as a helpful guide and does not replace professional medical advice.

3. Medical Disclaimer

The recommendations provided by Snug Tonight are for informational purposes only. They are not medical advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional guidance from your paediatrician, health visitor, or other qualified healthcare provider.

Always follow safe sleep guidelines from recognised health authorities (such as Red Nose, the Lullaby Trust, or the AAP). If you are unsure about how to dress your baby for sleep, consult your healthcare provider.

4. User Accounts

You may create an account to sync data across devices. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as needed.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

Snug Tonight offers a free tier and premium subscriptions (monthly and yearly). Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms.

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's account settings
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google per their policies

Snug Tonight Premium — subscription details:

• Monthly plan: USD 4.99 / month, auto-renewing
• Yearly plan: USD 29.99 / year, auto-renewing
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase
• Your subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the same price unless Apple or Google notifies you otherwise
• You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your device's account settings after purchase
• Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Interfere with the App's functionality or infrastructure
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent subscription limits

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code in Snug Tonight are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Snug Tonight and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

We do not guarantee that recommendations will be suitable for every child or every situation. You assume full responsibility for decisions made regarding your child's sleep environment.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these terms. You may stop using the App at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases, but these Terms shall survive where applicable.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of significant changes through the App.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa, without regard to conflict of law principles.
